After speaking to hundreds of colleagues we will be launching our new Nursing and Midwifery Strategy 2020/21:Time to Care, at the end of this month.

We're delighted to have Chief Nurse (North), NHS England/Improvement Margaret Kitching for the launch session on January 29th 1.30pm at CRH in the Lecture Theatre.

There are also lots of sessions throughout the rest of that day. See below. And they're open to all on a drop-in basis.

The strategy has been written along with conversations and feedback from colleagues. Its main aims are to:

  • Create the time to care for our patients to support the patient experience
  • Build on the foundations of our already excellent workforce, and become an exemplar Trust, recognised nationally
  • Make sure the voices of our patients and their families are heard

Watch Ellen and Deputy Director of Nursing Lindsay Rudge talk about the three main ambitions here - and pop along to one of the hour-long sessions in the lecture theatre at CRH and hear more from them.

Ellen said: "I'm really excited about the new strategy, especially as so many colleagues have been able to contribute towards it. I hope to see lots of colleagues there throughout the day and look forward to us all pulling together to help make the strategy a reality".

No need to book - just come along to the CRH Learning Centre
