National Inclusion Week (NIW) is a week dedicated to celebrating inclusion and taking action to create inclusive workplaces, this year it takes place from Monday, 15th to 21st September. Here at CHFT we will be celebrating from Monday, 22nd September to 28th September in the run up to our NHS Staff Survey launch. 

The theme for National Inclusion Week is ‘Now is the Time’, is a call to action – urging urgency and resilience to keep inclusion a priority at work.

Throughout the week our Workforce and Organisational Development Team will be holding stalls at CRH and HRI, pop along on the following dates to speak to the team about inclusion, the ways you can get involved, and upcoming celebrations:

  • Tuesday, 23rd September - CRH Ingleton Falls between 11:00 - 13:00
  • Thursday, 25th September - HRI main entrance between 11:00 - 13:00 

There is also a Filipino Festival is taking place this week on Thursday, 18th September at 13:00 in the Learning Centre at CRH.

Hosted as part of the REN network, the event will be a celebration of Filipino culture and heritage and a chance for our Filipino community at CHFT to share their traditions, flavours, music and stories. Read more in our CHFT News story from last week.
