Following the success of last year's visit, our End-of-Life Care Team and Chaplain, Zeenat Hussain, have arranged two more study sessions at Madni Mosque in Halifax.
From the feedback the team received, they felt it was important to arrange more sessions for colleagues to attend to learn about how a different culture deals with death and dying.
During the visit there will be the opportunity to observe call to prayer and to discuss end of life care and care of the deceased within the Muslim community.
You must book a place if you would like to attend. Please email eolcteam@cht.nhs.uk to book. The dates for the next sessions are Wednesday, 23rd April and Thursday, 4th September 2025 between 12:00 and 14:30. For more information, see the flyer below or email Zeenat.Hussain@cht.nhs.uk
