Here our CEO Owen Williams talks about his pride at being told by the assessors  "you've an amazing bunch of people out there”.

A number of colleagues (around 150 or so) recently met with our external assessor as part of our three- year assessment against the Investors in People (IIP) Standard. IIP is a nationally recognised framework, based on 20 years of leading business practice, made to organisations who can demonstrate investment in their people to develop strategies and practice to improve the performance of the Trust. 

At this time of significant change we were slightly nervous about the outcome of such an assessment but felt it was the right thing to do to test the feeling in the organisation.

Feedback from the Assessor was that “you have an amazing bunch of people out there”.  I always knew that but am very pleased to have this confirmed by an “outsider”. 

The outcome of the assessment is that we have achieved the Investors in People Bronze Award – this is one step up from meeting the core standard as we have done in the past and I am incredibly proud that colleagues have scored us at this level.
