9.30 am. July 5. Huddersfield Royal Infirmary entrance and the band from Greenlea Unit simply burst into action.
Their renditions of Happy Birthday and Congratulations went down a storm with colleagues and visitors cheering and applause as they ended. Watch their Congratulations here.
As they left there was talk that rehearsals had been quite scary as the big day had drawn near - but pledged to be back at Christmas.
The band is made up of all the lovely team on the ward with instruments ranging from violins to guitars to recorders, a piano and a tin whistle.
In the afternoon, members of the Huddersfield Choral Society belted out a terrific rendition of Hallelujah Chorus. Click hear to watch it.
The Halifax Choral Society also gave a rousing rendition in the front entrance at CRH - it sounded stunning. Our video is on our Facebook page.
Big thanks to them all!
