Health and care professionals from all disciplines in the region are being invited to apply for membership of the Yorkshire and the Humber Clinical Senate Assembly which provides full, independent and impartial clinical advice on plans for service change that have significant implications for patients and the public.
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate health and social care professionals who are actively involved in healthcare delivery to join the 100 members already on the Senate Assembly to help in the provision of our clinical advice.
We are currently working on:
- Pancreatic cancer service proposals
- Children’s acute care
- Service wide transformation on behalf of Durham, Darlington and Tees
As a Senate Assembly member, you will be invited to join a bespoke working group that reflects your clinical expertise and chaired by a member of our Senate Council. Your time commitment will be flexible and dependent on your membership of the specific working groups.

Applications should be submitted by no later than 23 December 2016. This is a membership application and therefore interviews will not be necessary.
Recruitment will be based upon experience, areas of interest and the requirement of the Senate Assembly to be broadly representative of the wider healthcare community within Yorkshire and the Humber.
