With 3687 vaccinations given to date, we’ve officially vaccinated almost 58% of frontline staff. And as the national average is 40% it’s a good time to say we’re doing really well in making sure our colleagues, patients and families are protected from flu this winter.

We're determined to have as many colleagues as possible vaccinated by the end of this year, so early next month we'll also be taking part in a nationwide #jabathon week to share the importance of the vaccination on social media.

Our CHFT film stars

We'd like to say a huge thanks to a number of colleagues for helping bust the myths about flu on some short films:

  • Anne King - Community Staff Nurse
  • Sarah Flood - Staff Nurse
  • Vicky Storey - District Nurse
  • Gail Wright - Deputy Head of Midwifery
  • Mary Hytch - Matron
  • Gemma Berriman  - Matron

Ho, ho, ho....or is that tee, hee, hee?

With Christmas creeping up on us - colleagues have been posing for comedy snaps - so watch your screens next week. We think they're brill and hope you do too!
