The results of last year’s NHS Staff Survey told us our Trust is not as good at offering flexible working patterns as other similar trusts. We also know that many colleagues regularly work far longer hours than they should. This impacts on wellbeing, and may also affect patients and other areas of colleagues’ lives.

To understand what we can do to make change for the better, we’re running two breakthrough events and we’d like as many colleagues to come along as possible.

It’s only by having contributions from our colleagues that we can work together to make a positive change.

What are breakthrough events?

Our Work Together Get Results toolkit (developed after a previous staff survey) supports all colleagues in being involved and listened to when change needs to happen in their team or across the Trust.

One of the tools we use is a breakthrough event.  Colleagues who feel something may not be working as well as it could be meet up to share ideas and knowledge – resulting in agreed actions to support change.
