Not that long ago he was a CQC inspector. But James Meehan was so impressed by what he saw he's come to work for CHFT as a Risk Manager.
James (pictured in his early career and also as he is now in the attachment below) told CHFT Weekly:
"I was responsible for the A&E part of the inspection for both sites - including writing the reports and setting the initial ratings. I was inspired to join the Trust following my experiences during the inspection being good. But it's not my first exprience of CHFT as I also completed the practical part of my paramedic training in A&E, MAU and theatres at HRI back in 2010."

Tell us about your career background?
I started with West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service in 2003 on patient transport, qualifying as a Paramedic in 2010. I worked in Leeds as a Paramedic and in the 999 Call centre as a Senior clinical advisor. I joined the CQC as an inspector in the hospitals division, but found I preferred to be part of an NHS trust and joined CHFT in October this year.
