Members of the Attendance Management Team have been holding roadshows over the last two weeks at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital.
The purpose of the drop-in session have been to support colleagues to better understand the Policy on Attendance Management and the support available to maintain a good standard of general health .
Members of the E-roster and Occupational Health teams have been also in attendance.
Executive Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, Ian Warren, said ‘’It’s really important to me that we continually discuss the Health and Wellbeing of our staff, and also ensure that we have the support in place to help colleagues when it is needed. These workshops are aimed at all of us, along with our line managers, to support the conversations we all need when we are not feeling great. Along with this, they provide the support which will help us maximise the focus on key areas of concern as we really aim to maximise attendance across all areas of our services. I firmly believe that this will support improving patient care, by focussing on supporting staff.’
