The Research Team are sad to announce the death of their colleague Anthony who died suddenly earlier this month. Anthony has worked for the Research Team for the last 5 years, as an Admin Assistant. He was a well-respected and well thought-of member of our team. His death will be a huge loss.

A book of condolence and a collection has been set up on his desk within the Research Team at HRI, in the Old Library – The Learning Centre. Please feel free to come down to the Learning Centre and leave a message for his family.

His colleagues say:  "He was constantly smiling, well-loved by everyone and this is a sad time for everyone.  Nothing was too much trouble for Anthony and he truly did go above and beyond"

** A remembrance service was held for colleague Ann Cross in the chapel at HRI.

Ann was a much loved staff nurse  on ward 12 who died from cancer in June of this year. Ann’s husband, Paul, and hospital staff shared memories of Ann. In the picture they are going up to light candles to celebrate the light she brought into the lives of those who knew her and worked with her.
