CHFT takes its educational role very seriously. One of its ongoing educational commitments is the PACES (Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills - PACES) course which is a regional course for Yorkshire and Humber trainees held annually at CHFT.

CHFT under the leadership of Dr Pratap Rana, Dep Training Programme Director for CMT’s  and assistance of the Postgraduate manager Sue Burton and her colleagues; has maintained the tradition and delivered yet another successful course over the weekend on the 17th and the 18th of September at Calderdale Royal Hospital.

Deputy Training Programme Director, Pretap Rana said “Once again I thank all the Consultants, Registrars and admin staff in PG Centre under leadership of Sue Burton for massive support I received in organising the PACES course. Without your dedication, it is impossible to organise this course every year.”

Consultant in renal medicine, Mansoor Ali, said:  “Huge thanks to our acute and specialist medical consultants; registrar colleagues within and outside the Trust who helped out to make this a successful story. We also thank the CHFT and West Yorkshire patients without whom this would have not been possible”.

Candidates attending the course were from the region and our Trust.

CHFT wishes them all the best for their PACES examination!.
