Friends and colleagues are this afternoon attending the funeral of HRI's Emergency Department's Tracey Eaton.

Tracey, from Lindley,  died suddenly earlier this month and the department at HRI has now set up a book of condolence. Tracey  worked at CHFT for 30 years and was a well-respected and thought-of member of our team.

The book of condolence has been set up on her desk at Huddersfield ED Reception. Tracey’s parents and her son James, have invited all her colleagues to her funeral this afternoon at Huddersfield Crematorium and afterwards at Woodland Glade, Bradley.  All are welcome to attend and share their memories with her family.

General manager, Caroline Smith said:  " She was constantly smiling, well-loved by everyone and this is a sad time for everyone."

Tracey was a massive Huddersfield Giants fan and attended all home and away games with her son and her Dad and Danielle Collier, from Day Surgery. Danielle, said: "She was an amazing person, really bubbly. She made everyone laugh and was a brilliant colleague and brilliant friend."
