Our new colleague engagement group met for the first time last week to see how we can all work together to make CHFT a better place to work.

Owen Williams chaired the inaugural meeting at Acre Mills saying "Having so many colleagues from such a wide range of work bases across the Trust was a real opportunity to press ahead together for change".

The top issues raised went onto a priorities list for the group’s members – from all areas of the Trust – to put in order of importance looking ahead to future meetings. The group came up with a long list of topics and will be shortlisting them soon. 

This year's NHS England national staff survey starts next week (26 September) when 1250 colleagues will be randomly selected to receive a survey. Some colleagues (around 50%) will get an electronic version, whilst others such as nursing staff and those who may not access a PC regularly will get a paper copy sent to their workplace. 

If you receive a survey, please take a few minutes to complete it - it really will help make a difference. We're already putting things in place as a result of the last survey.....see attached. And we'll share more information next week.
