Yes you read it right. Whilst we've been basking in the lukewarm summer sun, planning for this year's winter 'flu vaccination campaign has been underway and our peer immuniser training kicks-off next week.

The dates are attached and have already been shared by the 'Flu Vaccine Steering Group - which is made up of a whole host of colleagues from right across CHFT. 

The Occupational Health Team are running a bespoke A&E training session next week. If you have a group of 8 or more colleagues that require training please contact Occupational Health on CRH 2037 - they may be able to put on a bespoke course.

The sessions attached are for all new peer flu immunisers, and any returning immunisers who wish to have a classroom update.

Returning immunisers may want to refresh their training by e-learning, after which they'll need to forward a signed copy of the FLU PGD along with a self- declaration to the OH department. (See the Flu pages of the Intranet for further information)
