A group for new mums and babies is thriving in North Halifax.
Health visitor, Katie Keeler, has set it up alongside child development support work Steph Goldstein who has introduced baby massage to some of the free drop ins set up to support mums wanting to breast-feed.
They are held every Thursday at Illingworth Children's Centre from noon - 1.30 pm. Mums can enjoy sharing the social experience with other mums and can also have 1-1 support if needed over a cup of tea and a biccy.
Mums of all ages, and with first and second babies can attend.
Katie, said: "Massage is so popular as it is so good for settling babies. We are here to support our mums but what makes it work is them supporting each other. We are delighted to see numbers growing all the time."
