We're used to patients and their families saying nice things about us. But how often do we say them to each other? Team to team?
This week CHFT Weekly was handed this email from day Surgery to Facilities in praise of all the work they do for them. And sent us this fab pic too which cements the closeness which, of course, provides a better service for our patients.
Clinical operations manager Day Surgery Unit and SPU, Victoria Weaver wrote to Jason Bushby...
Hi Jason
"I would just like to drop you a line to say how grateful I was to some of your staff. We had an emergency in day surgery this morning and needed all hands on deck for a clean down. Only two patients needed to be cancelled thanks in some part to your dedicated team. I phoned a lady called Joanne explained the situation and within minutes she was here with a gentleman called Josh and a lady called Adelaine I think? They worked incredibly well with such a lovely attitude and smiles all round. It was great to see those attitudes and behaviours. Can I ask you to pass my sincere thanks on again.
"On another note I have Cath and Maureen working here every day and they are extremely hard working and conscientiously. Every day I am met with a smile. I feel very lucky to have them. Our cleaning scores are always between 99% and 100%. Could not be prouder. So again if you could pass that on I think it would mean the world to them."
