Working together is getting results big style with our estates and building partners Interserve combining to complete a works programme at HRI.

They have just scooped another regionally for Integrated and Collabortive Working at the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber awards. This was for  the ongoing projects including the ward upgrades, five out of six theatres and improvements in the mortuary. The team continues working with boiler house project and to complete the theatres overhaul. They will now go to the regional finals later this year.

Senior estates officer, second right, Paul Gilling, said: "Team working with Interserve has created so much  environmental improvement and modernisation at HRI and this all contributes to the Trust's ability to provide  better healthcare for our patients and their families."

 Don Stewart from Interserve also attended the ceremony.
