FSS have celebrated a year using the Electronic Patient Record - a significant achievement given the enormity of the project.
 

FSS division is the first area in the Trust to go ‘paper light’ and whilst it has presented itself with difficulties you would expect along the way, the staff have risen to the challenge and we are realising more and more the benefits using an electronic system has to offer.
 

Maternity EPR Midwife’s Carol Gregson and Emma Hardwidge, and Intrapartum Clinical Educator, Karen Armsden, celebrated this significant milestone by going around the unit giving staff the opportunity to discuss the Electronic System, thanking them for their continued support and treating them to drinks, cakes, mugs and pens.
 

Moving forward, the team are looking to showcasing their achievements within the division along with other IT initiatives in July so please watch this space.
