There are just five full days left for colleagues and residents of Calderdale and Huddersfield to have their say on the proposed changes to our hospital. Here is what Owen wrote to colleagues last week in an email stressing why it's important to have your say:

"My purpose in dropping you this message is to ask you to make sure that you have taken the opportunity to read up about what the proposed changes might mean and to encourage you to submit your views.

As well as providing care to patients many of you will live in the Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield areas so this is not just about your views as people working for the Trust but it’s also about your views as carers, parents, patients and family members.

All the ideas, comments and suggestions put forward as part of the feedback will be taken into account, and I know that there have been some really valid points raised that would have been missed if the public and colleagues hadn’t already spoken up.

Paper documents have been sent to wards and departments and are also available in various community locations; the main entrances to the hospitals and outside the restaurants. All the information supporting the proposals are on the website. It’s also quick and easy to do the survey on line. See the full links below.

Please make sure you have your say."
