Elections to the Membership Council – calling all interested staff!... Nominations close soon...

  • Do you want to use your experience as a staff member to help make improvements for patients?
  • Do you want to be given the chance to have your say to help senior managers in their decision making?

If you answered yes to these questions then why not stand for election to one of the vacancies for Staff Membership Councillors on our Membership Council?

We have four vacancies – two in the Nurses/Midwives group, one in the Ancilliary group and one in the Allied Healthcare Professionals/HCS/Pharmacists group – and elections will take place over the summer.

Being an membership councillor (MC) is great for your personal development as you’ll get the chance to attend development sessions covering topics that you might not come across in your everyday job, including Finance, Quality and more!  You don’t need any special skills or qualifications and you’ll undergo a full induction programme if elected.

If you fancy standing for election to this interesting role, get yourself a nomination form from either Kathy Bray, Board Secretary, Trust Offices, HRI (x5933) or the Returning Officer on 0208 889 9203 (e-mail ftnominationenquiries@electoralreform.co.uk)

If you’re undecided and would like more information, please get in touch with Vanessa Henderson, the Business Manager for the Membership Office, on x7342 (HRI).  Or take a look at the information on the intranet – Home > divisions >corporate/workforce-and-organisational-development  > membership

And remember!  You only have until 5 pm on Tuesday 5 July to nominate yourself!
