The presentation of the cheque took place on the Gynaecology Assessment Unit, which coincided with the 1st anniversary of Deborah’s mother's death.
Deborah told us: "I was overwhelmed by the support and generosity I received for this cause. It also gave us an incentive to continue to fund raise for other charities such as Race for Life and the Overgate midnight walk, to start with".
