This year's mandatory fire training programme starts next week - with wards taking priority in the first instance. To make sure colleagues know exactly what should happen in the event of a fire, and to make it as realistic as possible, for wards the training will take place in a simulated mock ward area.
There are a large number of training slots available (see attached) - and ward managers are asked to book their teams on as soon as possible via Karen Bates by email at karen.bates@cht.nhs.uk or call HRI on 35 (5923).
The ward training will take place at HRI on Corridor 7 and CRH on Ward 4d.
Departmental, office based and community fire training
The training will be delivered at your department by the Fire Safety Officer and will be similar to the ward training.
