Theatres at HRI are tonight among the finalists at a Gala evening at the John Smith Stadium, Huddersfield.

It's staged by the Examiner newspaper on the same lines of the Pride of Britain national awards and recognises local people who are special.

Theatres at HRI were nominated for everything they did to make Obe Morake's final days special by creating the best Christmas ever (see attached).

They launched a fundraising appeal and colleagues right across supported them after Obe was diagnosed with cancer in the middle of last year and sadly passed away in January this year.

They included flying his little son to the UK for Christmas in Holmfirth, singing carols outside his home and tracking down a special footie strip for his little lad.

They're there but all the Trust supported them - so Come On Theatres!
