It's been Dying Matters week and our Specialist Palliative Care Team and the Chaplaincy Department brought information about the "Big Conversation" to both hospital sites.

They were keen to promote discussion and planning amongst everyone about end of life issues, be it making a will, planning a funeral or discussing and planning preferences for care at the end of life.

Nursing team leader, Helen Harris, said on behalf of her team: “Dying will happen to all of us, so let’s stop avoiding the subject. Talking about it won’t make it happen any sooner, we promise!”
