Around 50 colleagues came along to the first HRI staff information drop-in session about proposed changes to health and community services yesterday. The programme driven by our CCGs is called Right Care, Time, Place and consultation runs until June 21.
Many attendees wanted to know more about what the changes meant, including Physiotherapy Practitioner, Gail Richardson (pictured).
Gail, who is based at A&E told CHFT Weekly "I've come along to find out more, not only because I live here, but I work here too and want to know what it may mean for my job".
There will be a session at CRH on Tuesday 17 May in the Learning Centre between 10am and midday - and a session for community colleagues is being planned (dates being finalised).
Next public information sessions next week - colleagues welcome to attend and find out more:
- Tuesday 10 May - Holmfirth Civic Hall, Huddersfield Road, HD9 3AS
- Saturday 14 May - Textile Centre, Red Doles Lane, Leeds Road, HD2 1YF
Plus....information in a nutshell to help explain the changes
Two A5 leaflets have been produced giving an explanation of what services would be where under the new proposals & the differences between emergency acute care & urgent care (see attached).
The leaflets support all the other information that's available for colleagues and the public on the official website.
