The whole of the HRI Catering Team are now fully qualified in their Level 2 Food Safety in Catering awards - going one step further than technically required.
Director of Planning, Performance, Estates and Facilities Lesley Hill presented their certificates saying "I'm really pleased to be here to present these certificates. I hope it goes some way to give recognition for all the hard work the whole team put in to making sure our patients have a wide range of meal choices - prepared to the highest standards".
The whole of the team now have their level 2 awards - which lasts for three years - with some already 18 months into their three year certification.
Lesley added "It's fantastic the team are all qualified to level 2. It sends a clear message and assurance to patients and visitors that we take food preparation and hygiene seriously here at CHFT".
The catering team have more than 500 years of experience working at our Trust! You may not know it but the potato hadn't even arrived on our shores 500 years ago!
