Ian Warren has been appointed as our new Director of Workforce and Development and will be joining us later this year.

He is currently the Director of HR and Organisational Development at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, where he was a member of the team which successfully led the Trust out of special measures in 2015, following Sir Bruce Keogh’s team inspections in July 2013. Prior to this he was the Director of HR and OD for Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust.

Following twelve years in the RAF working in finance, personnel, intelligence and recruitment, Ian worked as a senior HR professional within the private sector, with experience covering manufacturing, waste management and telecommunications. His experience covers all aspects of HR and Organisational Development with a focus on organisational design, employee development and process improvement. He brings a wealth of experience in cultural and transformational change, employee relations, coaching and mentoring.

Ian is married with two children, and is a keen football fan. He holds an MSc in HR and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. 

He said: “I am really excited at joining the Trust at such an important time, with Public Consultation under way. With the NHS facing ever-increasing challenges, it is clear that we all need plans to deliver improving patient care. I am convinced that the plans for the Trust will successfully deal with this, and I look forward to joining the team.”
