There's been huge interest in our stands for Nutrition and Hydration Week at both hospitals.

The aim of Nutrition and Hydration week is to reinforce and focus energy, activity and engagement on nutrition and hydration as an important part of quality care, experience and safety improvement in health and social care settings. It is collaboration between:

•Hospital Caterers Association

•National Association of Care Catering

•Patient Safety First

Our Dietetic teams have been based in the main entrance of both sites to answer  questions about colleagues' own nutrition and hydration needs and the needs of their patients. Colleagues were invited to visit the stands and make their own personal pledgse to promoting good nutrition and hydration within our Trust. And there was the chance to enter a draw and win a hamper or a huge Easter egg. Winners announced next week!

The Trust also took the opportunity to showcase our hospital food and menus for patients and offered samples of our new homemade soups which are already a big hit with patients.
