This is to advise you that DH and NHS England have commissioned a market research agency called GfK to run a poll on NHS staff’s awareness of and attitudes towards national policies affecting the NHS. The survey will gauge opinion across a range of staff of different grades and in different job roles across England.

The initial phase of fieldwork will started on Monday 16 March until the beginning of the pre-election ‘purdah’ period on 30 March. A second phase will then restart after the General Election, and we will advise you on the start dates for this sometime in May. Results will be used to help our teams gather feedback and improve the quality of information provided to NHS staff on national policies.

Participation is, of course, voluntary and if any member of staff has doubts about whether the enquiry is legitimate, they should ask the researcher to send them a reassurance letter.
