Our HRI switchboard receives around 500 calls per day, and in a large number of cases callers are waiting more than five minutes to get through.


This can cause people added anxiety at a time when they may already be worried. 

 

Assistant Divisional Support Services Manager, Fran Brocklehurst said: "Our 3-man team work 24/7 and are keen to provide an efficient service to both external and internal callers. It would be really helpful if colleagues could use the attached documents to find out numbers in the first instance.

 

"That way we'll be able to make sure we can answer as many calls as possible, improving customer service.
