This Tuesday (March 15) saw the formal start of the Right Care, Right Time, Right Place (RCTP) consultation process and it will continue for 14 weeks until Tuesday June 21.

Yesterday was the first drop-in information session for members of the public and we joined with CCG colleagues to  represent the RCTP process at Slaithwaite Town Hall.  Associate Director of Strategic Planning, Catherine Riley, said:  "It was a really positive event and really interesting to hear what people had to say and to understand their concerns and it gave us the opportunity to discuss the model with them.

" It is not easy for people to come along and have face to face chats with us. That is hard to do so we are grateful that so many came along."

About 110 members of the public attended the six hour session and CHFT was represented by Catherine, company secretary Vicky Pickles, ED consultant Mark Davies and consultant and divisional director Ashwin Verma.

Throughout the period there will be stands in our two hospitals - next to our dining rooms - for colleagues wanting to find out more and how to get involved.

Attached is a list of all the other dates times and places including the two big public meetings.

A final decision by the joint CCGs is due to be made later this year.
