Former colleague Leander Stones and her friends raised £170 with a TeaFest for the Brain Tumour Trust at the Black Bull, Lindley, last Friday.

Leander thanked everyone for their support at the event where there was a raffle and cup cakes.

She said: " It was lovely to see everyone." She appeared in the Examiner to promote her afternoon for people who are recovering themselves, or people who have family members affected by the condition attended the event.

The Trust supports anyone or their families - who has had a  brain tumour diagnosis.
