With our CQC visit looming, this week's information is about the focus groups being held for colleagues during the inspection period (Tuesday 8 to Friday 11 March).
The hour-long focus groups will be held on the Wednesday and Thursday of that week - and colleagues are being invited to attend based on their job role.
Just like they ask the public, they'll ask colleagues questions about their experience of working at CHFT, including what works well, and any areas of concern. They'll then asses the information they've gathered and make judgements as to whether our services are:
- Safe
- Effective
- Caring
- Responsive to peoples' needs; and
- Well-led
Please take the opportunity to attend if you can. You can see all the focus group dates on our CQC pages.
The CQC are coming next week to talk to members of the public
Although our full inspection starts on Tuesday 8 March, some of the inspectors will be coming to CRH and HRI next week to talk to members of the public about our services. They will be in the main entrance between 11am and 2pm. They'll be at CRH on Monday 29 February and HRI on Tuesday 1 March. You can see the poster that the CQC have asked us to display in the main picture.
Coming next week
We'll share a reminder of some of the key things you'll need to know for inspection week.
.......And please don't forget to have two or three examples up your sleeve of things that you are proud of, or that work well to share with the inspection team. You should blow your own trumpets and share all the fab stuff you do.
