Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing Christine Bouckley has told CHFT Weekly there is still time to get the vaccination - which may be a good idea given 'flu is circulating locally. She also highlighted a few common myths:

Myth: Healthcare Professionals don't need the vaccination

Fact: Anyone can become infected with the 'flu. Being fit and healthy does not protect against infection

Myth: After October it's too late to have the jab

Fact: No it's not too late. Get the vaccination all the way up to March to protect you and others

Myth: You get 'flu from going out without a coat

Fact: The only way to get it is to catch the virus
