Next week on February 1st, a new Wellbeing Challenge will launch and will be available to all staff.
The aim of the event is to encourage those involved to increase their physical activity levels through fun short and long term challenges.
The Wellbeing Challenge caters for those who are already active and those who want to be more active.
Occupational Health & Wellbeing Assistant, Gemma Stokes, Said: "The aim is to ‘exercise your way around the world’. Whether that be by walking, running, swimming, dancing, cycling or even weight-lifting!"
"Staff members can do it alone or as part of a team. Once registered staff can log the distance you have travelled when exercising. For exercise that doesn’t cover a distance the equivalent will be calculated for you."
"Your own personal dashboard will give you information such as how many calories you have burnt, there will be mini-challenges and help, tips and training advice and best of all its free!"
