You might not be the same standard as the cycling supremos who swept through our region last summer but if you like cycling the Trust is giving you the opportunity to have your bike checked over.
With Easter is nearly upon us, now maybe the time to visit the Bike Doctors so you can get out and about safely over the holidays. The Trust has set up two free bike-check drop-in sessions.
Your nearest Bike Doctor session will be held at:
CALDERDALE – patient transport entrance at CWF car park
Date: Wednesday 25th March
Time: 11.30am until 2.30pm with 15minute time slots
HUDDERSFIELD – Acre Mill cycle shelter
Date: Tuesday 31st March
Time: 11.30am until 2.30pm with 15minute time slots
Our Energy and Sustainability manager, Katie Stead, said: "If you’re thinking of getting your bike out over Easter, come along and get a free bike health check (for you – or a family member) and find out more about local cycling routes from our experts. Cycling is a great way to improve health and wellbeing, and can help to manage stress and improve fitness levels. Give it a go!”
