The flu vaccine can take up to two weeks to kick-in. With just 14 days until Santa Claus arrives, make sure you are fighting fit by having yours ASAP.

Flu is a preventable illness, yet it continues to kill people every year. Our seasonal flu immunisation programme is a key part of helping to maintain the health and wellbeing of our colleagues, protecting patients and delivering robust and resilient health and care services to our patients throughout the year.

Flu vaccination remains the best way to protect people from flu. Don't wait until it's too late!

We have immunisers right across the Trust and the Occupational Health Team can also help support with bringing the flu trolley to you. If you're having a team meeting, or you are gathering your team together it would be an ideal opportunity for a group vaccination session. Contact them on 01422 222037 or email occupational.healthCHT@cht.nhs.uk

Did you miss Consultant Microbiologist Dr. Gavin Boyd's video that we shared last week? You can see it on the flu pages.

Please tell us if you've had the vaccination elsewhere.....you can use the self-declaration form on the intranet, managers can let OH know or you can make your local immuniser aware.
