Costa Coffee at HRI have been busy scooping more awards for top notch customer service and charity fundraising.

Costa Coffee Manager, Neil Dale and Compass Group General Manager, Scott Jones, attended Compass' annual conference, picking up awards for contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Scott told us: "Our site alone has raised 10% of the national total, considering we operate over 150 units is a fantastic achievement. We hope to continue raising money with themed events and days over the next year so keep an eye out for a bit of fancy dress or cake sales!"

At the awards, Costa at HRI were also recognised for their exceptional 15 in a row 100% mystery shopper scores. (Pictured in the middle, Scott with Neil Dale)

This is a new record and altogether this unit has only ever lost 3% out of 17 visits.

Scott continued: "This is an exceptional achievement which rewards the team's fantastic passion and determination to deliver the best customer experience possible."

Alonside this, every quarter in the year, members of staff can be nominated for one of Compass' 'Be A Star awards' in recognition of them going above and beyond the call of duty or going that extra mile.

This year, Costa at HRI had two nominees to win! Sam Womersley and Nicola Holodnyj (Pictured middle left and right) were invited to a gala dinner in recognition of their success at the Natural History Museum in London.

Nicki was also one the shortlist of 5 nominees for the overall annual Be A Star award. Scott said: "Considering Compass employ over 25000 in the UK and as there were only 200 people invited this is a great accomplishment."

Members of staff at Costa continue to achieve great things and are looking forward to doing some fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society on 17th Dec.

Staff will all be in Christmas jumpers to try and hopefully raise some money for a good cause and spread some Christmas cheer!
