Health secretary Jeremy Hunt yesterday agreed to ACAS talks with the junior doctors' union, the British Medical Association, headed by Dr Mark Porter, pictured.

But, as at time of CHFT Weekly being issued,  no date/time has been fixed and the strikes have not been called off so our planning for the first proposed day of action of December 1 (and subsequent proposed dates of December 8 and 16) must continue trustwide.
