Community Staff Nurse Anne is passionate about making sure colleagues are vaccinated against seasonal flu - so much so that her whole team are now protected from this year's strain.

Anne, who has worked in her current role for 25 years (though at the Trust for almost 35!) told CHFT Weekly: " I’ve had great support from my colleagues Vicky Storey, Julie Talbot and Donna Primus running the drop-in sessons in central Halifax for the past three years or so.

"It's a simple as making sure we protect both colleagues and our vulnerable patients - it's not rocket science! And I actively encourage/harass/nag (delete as appropriate) my team to have the vaccination as soon as it is available".

Anne is pictured above with the King Cross and Rosegarth district nursing teams. And the photo attached to the top of the story is Anne and Julie recently immunising Clinical Manager Marie Sullivan at a drop-in clinic held at St John's Health Centre.

Don't let flu creep up and ruin your Christmas preparations - have the jab as soon as you can.

If you have your jab at your GP or somewhere else please let us know by emailing occupational.healthCHT@cht.nhs.uk with your name and date of birth or complete our self-declaration form.
