Mandatory training is important because it helps keep our colleagues and patients safe, supporting CHFT in our vision of delivering compassionate care. It’s a must-do…one of our four pillars.

All subjects must be completed before 31 March 2016, so colleagues are being encouraged to plan time in to make sure they can do so. This includes one classroom based course of 1.5 hours.

The full list of subjects is:

  • Conflict Resolution New!
  • Dementia Awareness New!
  • Equality, Diversity and Human Rights
  • Fire Safety
  • Health, Safety and Wellbeing
  • Infection Prevention and Control
  • Information Governance
  • Moving and Handling
  • Prevent (classroom based)
  • Safeguarding (Adults and Children)

Info re our newest courses: Conflict Resolution includes an assessment, whilst Dementia Awareness is an information package with no test.

Colleagues can complete their subjects now by accessing them through the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) at http://www.esrsupport.co.uk/nlms/login.html or from the ESR icon on their desktop (see attachement).
