Carole Hallam and her team are heading to the glittering nursing "Oscars"  tonight at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.

And they could collect two top awards.

The first category is the Infection Control Category, for their work in partnership with a hospital in Zalau in Romania which the Trust has an amazing link with in improving infection prevention and control.

The second category was the Continents category, which has been distinguished for the work on the intermittent catheter project.

Her team are so pleased to be shortlisted - in one of the mostly hotly contested NHS competitions of the year - and you can watch Maggie Shepley discuss the great work that their team has done so far here.

Director of Nursing in Romania, Ramona Marincas (picturde on the right in attatchments) is in the UK especially to attend the event and she is absolutely thrilled for the recognition their work has received.

Carole told us: "I am delighted to have been shortlisted and that our work has actually been recognised for the voluntary work CHFT have completed in Romania. We have always been well-supported by CHFT which makes it something we can all be proud of."

There is some fierce competition, but we all wish them the best of luck!
