Following feedback from the Calderdale Disability Group, we’ve made our disabled spaces at CRH clearer to see by painting them blue. And we’ve put in some additional parking too.

The request came from the group who we work closely with, to see what we could do to make the spaces more visible. The spaces were also sometimes used incorrectly as often the disabled logo on the tarmac was dirty or worn.

Facilities Manager Jason Bushby said “We’re always really happy to work with local groups to make access to our sites as easy as possible.

“It also makes it easier for us to spot when people are parking incorrectly, which may deny a patient or visitor with a disabled badge access to a space.”
