Shaun Mawhinney and Maria Toshack presented their dissertation work at the annual British Association of Critical Care Nurses (BACCN), a two-day conference, in London.

After completing their Masters in Acute and Critical Care in May 2014 from the University of Huddersfield, they have since been working with dissertation supervisors at the University to try to publish the results of their studies in a journal.

Maria told us: "It was an amazing opportunity to be able to present our own research at a national conference."
