Occupational therapy week will be up and running from Monday November 2nd to the 8th.

A stand with all the information you need will be available at CRH in the entrance area.

Occupational therapists are increasingly being employed in Accident and Emergency services, where they have a key role in rehabilitation as part of a multidisciplinary team and through their links with community and social services teams, which prevents unnecessary admissions to acute care wards.

At CHFT we have Ocuppational Therapists specialists who specialise in: medicine and complex needs (inlcuding front end wards and A and E), elective orthopedics, trauma orthopedics, acute stroke, stroke rehab, Community occupational therapy, peadiatrics, intermediate care, and surgery.
