Assistant Human Resources Manager, Donna Watson, has just had her first flu jab for several years.

Initally, Donna was reluctant to have the jab, being a self-confessed sceptic about what is being put into her body.

But after revisiting how potentially serious catching flu can be, particularly for children and the elderly, Donna decided to take the plunge and get the flu jab again this year to protect herself as well as those around her.

She said, "I have elderly grandparents and young children myself and earlier this year my sister was diagnosed with a life threatening illness, for which she is currently undergoing treatment.

As a result of this illness and the treatment her immunity is compromised.  With this in mind I decided to have the flu jab this year, not only to protect myself but also my family and others."

If like Donna you're tempted to put off having your jab remember that your decision may impact those around you - so don't delay.
