There's been a great turnout at the Electronic Patient Record roadshows this week.

The events, at both hospitals, were designed to give colleagues their first real look at the various ways it will impact on day to day working.

EPR is due to be fully implemented by the end of next year and in the meantime there will be a host of ways to find our more including more roadshows for anyone who missed this week's events.

Groups can also invite the EPR teams to come and visit them - if it is easier - to explain the range of services including patient admin, prescribing and ordering tests.

Communications manager Colin Beesting, said the reaction to the informal demonstrations had been "pretty positive."

"The main issues surround training on the new systems and there will be plenty of that," he said.
