Our catering team served up HRI patients' food menus at the Catering Forum held last Friday.

The meals to sample included:  

¨ Chicken & Broccoli Bake

¨ Cottage Pie

¨ Sausage in Onion Gravy

¨ Battered Fish

¨ Sausage Roll

¨ Potato Cheese & Leek Bake

¨ Vegetable Lasagne

 

¨ Sliced Carrots

¨ Peas

¨ Sweetcorn

¨ Chips

¨ Mash

 

¨ Chocolate Chip Sponge

¨ Rhubarb Crumble

¨ Custard

 

... and the tasters gave them a big thumbs up!!.

The idea was to engage with colleagues - especially colleagues on the wards - to come up more ideas on how we can improve the choices and service still further through close working with the ward teams and our dietitians.

Assistant head of catering Adrian Brown, said: " The response to the food testing was a good one. I think  people were more impressed than they thought they would, be which was great."
