Sandra Atkinson from the Birth Centre at CRH retired on Monday after almost 20 years with the Trust.

She told CHFT Weekly "I'm really going to miss the people the most. I'll stay in touch and also try to be a lady that lunches with some of my old colleagues, whilst my husband does the gardening!".

Carol Sarr, who manages the Birth Centre, said: "Sandra knew our Trust inside and out - if you wanted any information people would just go to her. She was such a valuable support for team and our community midwives and we'll really miss her".
